this guide can help any roleplayer, new or old. be sure to follow this if you need help.
naming, probaly one of the hardest parts of creating a character. trust me, we've all went through it, but there are a couple of very easy steps to help you name your character!
001. focus on what the character looks like. what color is your cat? what kind of markings do they have? what eye color do they have? how big are they? keep all of these in mind when brainstorming the prefix for your character's name. if a cat is black, then it may be called black-kit, nightkit, or dark-kit. or something along those lines. a spotted cat may be named spottedkit, leopardkit, spotkit, or something along those lines. oh the cat's eyes are blue? think of names like bluekit, streamkit, and so on. always think of the appearance when naming the kit, like if their fur is spiked more than fluffed, they may be called thornkit. in the books, a main asset to their names are the way they look. rogues, loners, and kittypets don't have to follow this as they can be named anything.
002. the suffix of a cat can be based off of anything. really, you can choose any suffix for your cat. the only cat's that have set suffixes are kits, apprentices, and leader. any other cat may have any other suffix. rogues, loners, and kittypets do not have suffixes in their names.
